Flowers of My Yard

All the flowers in this project are present in my front and backyard. Most are wildflowers deposited by rabbits, birds and other animals. The rhododendrons extend over my neighbors fences, drawn by the sunlight. I am fascinated by the ordinary and extraordinary in life and flowers inhabit both of these worlds. Some people are repulsed by dandelions, they are "ugly, invasive weeds!" yet their flowers are a beautiful saturation of yellow providing pollen for our important pollinators.
